The short answer

Take five clear photographs of empty scenery, keeping people and the television out of the viewfinder. Then watch the newsroom response and follow the remaining sequence until Breaking News appears.

An empty photo has to be genuinely empty

This route tests what the station does when you give it nothing useful to broadcast. The important part is not where the cursor sits on the lawn; it is what the complete viewfinder contains when you click.

Visitors wander across open patches. Choose space away from the central television and check the edges of the frame before every shot. A character entering the corner can turn an intended empty photo into a different report.

Give the station no usable story

Five empty photographs are the commonly documented starting sequence. Count the accepted broadcasts, not rapid clicks made while a transition is still running. The game can continue with a staged news event after those empty reports.

  1. Start a clean run and point at unoccupied scenery away from the television.
  2. Take an empty photograph and wait for its response before repeating.
  3. Continue until five accepted empty-scene shots have exhausted the ordinary reports.
  4. Watch the station fabricate an event, follow the remaining visible prompts, and let the ending reveal finish.

Do not stop at the fifth click

The recorded chapter continues beyond its empty-scene setup. The station eventually supplies its own spectacle. If you leave as soon as you have clicked five times, you may miss the scene that explains the title.

If your television starts showing a hat, a frightened visitor, or a crowd portrait, reset the attempt. Those are signs that the camera accepted a different subject. This ending is useful early in your collection because it teaches the difference between the cursor position and the entire photographed area.

Questions about this route

Is it exactly five clicks?

The documented setup is five accepted empty photographs. Clicks during a broadcast may not count, and a visitor in frame can change the subject.

Does photographing the TV count as empty scenery?

No. The television has its own route; use an unoccupied patch instead.
